Article IX: Aircraft Maintenance
- The Vice-President shall be responsible for and
oversee the Corporation maintenance program. He/she shall maintain
related aircraft and equipment data and information in official
aircraft maintenance records and logbooks.
- The Vice-President shall be responsible for
maintaining the aircraft in proper operating condition, by or under
the supervision of a properly certified aircraft and engine mechanic,
and for obtaining all checks, inspections, and compliance with all
service bulletins for the corporate aircraft.
- The Vice-President shall be responsible for
recruiting, appointing and training Crew Chiefs from the Corporation
membership. He/she, in concert with assigned crew chiefs, shall be responsible
for all documentation required to be carried on the aircraft and for
recording and/or documenting all actions upon the completion of
routine or scheduled inspections.
- The Vice-President shall insure that
manufacturer authorized and certified replacement parts are used on
corporate aircraft and safety equipment.
- Major overhauls and repairs shall be discussed
with the Board of Directors before any work is done on the aircraft.
