Article VIII: Treasurer
- The Treasurer shall execute with the President,
in the name of the Corporation, all certificates of membership,
contracts, and financial instruments having been approved by the Board
of Directors. He/she shall execute in the name of the Corporation all
checks for the expenditures authorized by the Board of Directors.
He/she shall receive and deposit all funds of the Corporation in the
financial institution selected by the Board of Directors, and which
funds shall be paid by check as herein provided. He/she shall also
account for all receipts, disbursements, and balance on hand.
- The Treasurer shall perform all duties incident
to the office of Treasurer, subject to the control of the Board of
Directors.
- A candidate for Treasurer must be an
owner-member for a minimum of two consecutive years to serve as
Treasurer of the Corporation.
- The Treasurer shall also perform such duties
connected with the operation of the Corporation as may be undertaken
and suggested by the President.
